Sylvie joined Urban Initiatives in 2024 with prior experience across both local and international projects. She graduated with a Master of Landscape Architecture in 2023 and has since contributed to a diverse range of work spanning from large-scale city master planning to small residential landscape design. Through these experiences, she has developed strong proficiency in graphic communication, 3D modelling, GIS, and hand drawing.
Outside of professional practice, Sylvie is an active member of her local parks friend group, where she has developed a deep interest in fungi—particularly mycelium. This fascination has deepened her appreciation for the complexity and interconnectedness of natural systems.
Her approach to design is grounded in empathy, creativity, and close attention to detail, aiming to foster a deeper sense of responsibility and care towards the environment. Sylvie’s strength lies in her ability to visualise and communicate ideas through a wide range of drawing techniques, supporting clear thinking and collaboration from concept through to design developments.
