Tim is a Registered Landscape Architect and Managing Director of Urban Initiatives who has over 30 years of professional experience and is actively involved with most stages of landscape and urban design projects undertaken by the practice. Tim also undertakes management responsibilities in the areas of quality assurance, OH&S, financial and client management.

Tim is a committed and passionate professional with extensive knowledge and experience across all facets of landscape architecture. In addition to his lead managment role in the practice, Tim has lead teams for the master planning, contract documentation and administration of many significant landscape, environmental, tourism, transport and urban design projects. He also has particular expertise in town centre master planning, environmental planning, wetland, heritage and zoo exhibit and design projects.

At a professional level, Tim has been extensively involved in the advancement of the landscape architectural profession in Victoria. Tim is a Fellow of the Institute of Landscape Architects and has undertaken other professional roles including sessional lecturing at RMIT University, a two-year term as AILA Victoria President (2003-2005), and involvement on a wide range of peer review and judging panels for design awards. Outside of work Tim enjoys cycling, running and travel.
