Years at UI: 1995-Present

Tim worked in private practice in London and Melbourne for eight years before joining Urban Initiatives in 1995. For almost twenty years Tim has been integral to the development of the practice leading design teams on significant scale zoo exhibit design, infrastructure, education, heritage, memorial and local government projects. This includes the Melbourne City Square, Box Hill Mall, the post Black Saturday Marysville streetscape and park reconstruction and the Rainforest Entry Exhibit at Melbourne Zoo. Tim also specialises in wayfinding and strategic heritage trails planning.  At a professional level, Tim has also been extensively involved in the advancement of the landscape architectural profession. This has included sessional lecturing at RMIT University, a two-year term as AILA Victoria President (2003-2005), and involvement on a wide range of peer review and judging panels for design awards.
